In Spring of 2024, I started creating t-shirt designs inspired by my faith and sports, specifically cycling. The "little people" designs have come from envisioning myself in a scene that portrays various texts that I have read or scenes that have in my mind. Designs can can be based on something that I: hear, have read in Scripture, have said or is said to me in conversation or prompted by the Holy Spirit. This has a been a wonderful creative outlet. As I have been creating t-shirt designs, I started gravitating toward putting silhouetted and or small figures in the designs. I took inspiration from Scripture and sport. I feel like I allow myself to be captured in that scene myself and "experience" it. Psalm 23 is an important bit of inspiration. This Psalm is a part of my prayer liturgy, and so it's imagery started to emerge the more I read it. You can find these and more on my Threadless store.
